Internship Job Description
Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must be self-motivated, have attention to detail, and follow written and verbal instructions.  Excellent communication skills, general to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to perform most tasks with minimal direction once taught.  Knowledge of social media, SEO, web design, graphic design, financial reporting, or tax rules a plus.  Experience with Infusionsoft and Goldmine CRM’s a definite plus.


  • Financial Planning Support and Assistance
  • Assist application processing
  • Organize and review documents
  • Quality control
  • Document filing
  • Data input into planning systems
  • Marketing Assistance
  • Website updates
  • Blog support
  • Photo and video documentation at workshops and events
  • Draft marketing materials, advertisements, workshop handouts
  • Other office duties
  • Answering phones
  • Evening workshop assistance a couple times per month

 Time Commitment

15-20 hours per week during business hours and some evenings during workshops.
Intern supports the Operations Manager, and reports to the Director of Business Development.


  • College credit, and/or CPE credit hours
  • Learn financial and college planning, asset management, and insurance
  • Learn website design, blog creation, SEO, and marketing techniques
